5th to 9th Grade Tryouts in March

Whether you are new to cheer or have cheered before, our program has expanded for all. We have added a new squad for each grade to better support the football program and give more girls the opportunity to have a great cheerleading experience!

You will be able to choose to be on a competitive squad or a non- competitive squad, which is explained in the Agreement and Expectations Form.

The clinics and tryouts will be held at the American Fork High School.
The cost will be $20

Clinic Dates: (THIS IS A SCHOOL HOLIDAY) Monday March 9th 10:00 am-12:00 pm (learning cheers and dance)
Tuesday March 10th 4:00 pm-5:00 pm (review and mock tryouts)

On the first day of Clinics (March 9th) you need to come with signed Release Form, Agreement and Expectation Form, and AFHS Wavier. These three papers can be found here and by clicking on Tryout Forms. Please read the Agreement and Expectation Form carefully, this should answer any questions you might have. The girls, parents or guardians, and the association will follow these rules with no exceptions. Tryout fee and a wallet size picture will also be due at this time in order for the girls to continue on with the tryout process.

9th grade prospective cheerleaders MUST have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be eligible to tryout for Competitive squad.

Each girl should come stretched and ready to learn the routine. Please wear workout clothes and gym shoes. We will do light warm-ups and spend most of the time teaching the routine. The high school cheerleaders will only be teaching the routine and not tumbling or spotting. Video taping the routine will be allowed on March 10th for the last 30 minutes of the review day. This is a great way for the girls to practice at home for tryouts.
